About Fred
Fred founded his brand, SeeingRed, during the 2020 lockdown while studying fashion design at University of Westminster. Having been aware from a young age of the disparity between the clothes he wanted to wear and the mass produced offers catering to a ‘normal’ body, Fred started collaging fabrics to make modular garments to fit a range of body types. He sources locally and repurposes dead-stock and recycled materials to create innovative designs inspired by a mix of historical workwear and post-apocalyptic survival wear. Many designs are transformable, allowing the wearer multiple styling options. All items are unique and handmade by Fred in his studio in Fish Island.

Fred was paired with Joanne Jorgensen, The Knit Design Director at Nike’s Textile Design and Innovation Studio in London.
