About Lorna
Lorna has experience in the costume industry, specialising in designing and making costumes for contemporary dance. This experience has taught her to translate abstract ideas into functional and visually captivating costumes, enhancing the performance experience for both artists and audience. Her work in the industry has also made her more aware of its shortcomings, motivating her to prioritise sustainable and ethical practices in her new venture, ISLES, a bridal wear business which provides distinctive and environmentally conscious wedding dresses that not only stand out on the wedding day but also have a life beyond.
Lorna’s Mentor
Lorna was paired up with Federica Bruno, Bridal Collection Senior Manager at the court of Dame Vivienne Westwood, managing from start to finish the Made to Order Bridal Collection, created in London.
